Project meeting

I had a project meeting this week with Lorcan, Steve, and Graeme. The main point of the meeting was discuss the presentations we held last Thursday. The presentations went well over all and I got some useful advice and feedback on my own presentation. The main points I can improve on are: Starting with an exact description of my project is a good idea so straight away everyone knows exactly what the project is and what im doing. When discussing RFID I need to tone down the science part, I agree it will bore people to death and make them feel stupid if they dont get it. Slides needed a little polishing, I left in a stray bullet point and messed up the title page a little. Project was proposed by Lorcan!! Also I should be a little clearer about how my project relates to Caities work. Im not exactly building onto that work simply using similar technology. Toning down the description of Gumstix will be helpful too as its not really essential to explain it in so much detail. Basically I should stop saying basically.

They also mentioned some clever tips to really make it stand out. Collaboration is great! I could mention Christine and how my project also relates to ubiquitous computing which she discusses. Fancy! Also I could pass some of the technology around and let people take a look while i continue on.

All in all next presentation will be amazing!!!
